Fall Curbside Leaf Pickup
Curbside leaf pickup will begin Tuesday November 1, 2022. Leaves must be in paper bags with no other foreign or objectionable materials. Residents should put bagged leaves ready for pickup curbside by 7AM on their regular refuse pickup day, and leave them out until they're picked up. If possible, please make an attempt to cover or protect the bags in the even of inclement weather. Please keep in mind that Friday 11/11 and Thursday 11/24 are holidays which will delay pickup those weeks. Early season snow and ice may also lead to delays or suspension of the leaf collection program.
Alternatively, residents may also bring their bagged leaves to the transfer station at 36 Twiss Street free of charge during normal business hours (7AM-2:45PM Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays) with proof of residency.
Recycling Requirements & Restrictions
Effective January 5, 2015 the City implemented the single stream recycling program. This new program is beneficial to our community both financially and environmentally. Together we can reduce trash hauling costs and increase recycling tonnages for our City.
