The Landlord Fowler Tavern is located on East Main Street and has a dual notability. Not only was it an active public house on the main access road to the settlement of Westfield, but the beautifully carved entrance door is now on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Westfield must be content with the historic premises and a copy of the ornate entrance. The Landlord Fowler Tavern is currently a multi family residence located on the main road (route 20) to Springfield.

The original 1760 door is now in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
